BICYCLE TREASURE HUNT VI

2003 Printable Registration Form

A few things to remind yourself and/or the rest of the team before you head out to the hunt.

Have you re-read all of the site, especially the "What To Bring" section?

Please include with that list any sort of contraption/s to hold possible bike goodies that you may incur at the end, beginning or middle of the hunt. Bike baskets, backpacks, bike racks & bungee cords, panniers are worth their weight in gold.

Always remember to have a keen sense for bike safety.

While the flyers say High Noon, the actual kick-off time for the hunt will be closer to 12:30--to wait for those pesky velo stragglers. We'll be setting up just after 11:30am. Please wait until after 11:45am to ask about reg. forms, payment (cash or check), release forms, etc.

Before the actual start of the hunt, it is a great time to mingle & socialize among new faces in the ever-growing bike community.

You and your teammates will be requested to each sign a release form. After all the reg. forms, hunting fees, releases, autographs have been taken care of--we'll start the hunt.

The ongoing theme for the Bike Hunt--"Be one with the Ernie." Now for a little deconstruction time about that theme. Ask any five-year old who'd they rather hang out with: Bert or Ernie. Ernie wins hands down. Casual Type-B people turn into Type-A personalities on treasure hunts; Type A people turn into--well, we prefer not to comment. Suffice to say, keep the bigger picture in mind on the hunt--the utterly amazing treasure of simply being able to tool around urban life on your velo steed taking into your consciousness all sorts of amazing sights, sounds & smells.

Good luck & good hunting,

The Clue-meister
