History
Though it airs on KUSF, RadioSegue is produced by volunteers from the San Francisco community and is not affiliated with any University of San Francisco academic departments or programs.

The show was started in 1990 by Kim Danders, a local audio producer, who envisioned it as a "scene 'zine" of short arts segements -- hence the "segue." It passed to Amy Miller, who made it a long-form interview program focused on authors and filmmakers, including notables like Joyce Carol Oates and T.C. Boyle.

Other producers from the mid-'90s to the present include Amy Miller, Fiona Branson, Jenny Rose, Jason Knuth, Eric Rose, Josh Wilson, Heather Nicole, Danny Siudara, Robynn Takayama, Ira Hankin, Brad Stark, Amanda Nowinski, KC Wilder and Holly Mahan.

Towards the end of the '90s the show began to include coverage of issues as well as arts. In 2000 RadioSegue became a sponsored project of Independent Arts & Media to facilitate fundraising, production and promotions.
