To Be A Witness

To Be a Witness, project presents a unique and profound opportunity to explore the intersection of the innate wisdom of nature and human connection. This initiative is rooted in a conceptual framework that emphasizes reciprocity, inviting participants to engage in a journey of self-discovery and collective witnessing. By sitting with the timeless teachings of our ancestors and modern psychology, this project aims to create a transformative hub of safe containers for practice and dialogue around creating harmony by first establishing trust.

"To Be a Witness" unfolds as a collective experience that spans four distinct phases over a two-month period. Each phase is intricately designed to deepen participants' understanding of themselves and their connections to others, and the earth, employing a variety of artistic and psychological modalities. By incorporating practices from African ancestral traditions, Family Constellations, Transpersonal Psychology, 5 Gestalt principles, Buddhism, and Hinduism, we create a rich tapestry of insights that guides participants on this journey. At its core, this project is rooted in the desire to transform how we witness each other as humans and provide space for greater understanding in how we’ve arrived at who we are today. Thus expanding the capacity of empathy and alignment based on deepening connection. Tethering ancestral and cultural practice learned from Indigenous communities is also critical to opening the portal of this project. A practice of Sankofa, going back and getting it, while serving as a griot.
