This San Francisco / Japan Contemporary Art Exhibition brings together San Francisco-based artists and curators Kelly Tunstall and Ferris Plock (KEFE) with contemporary artists based throughout Japan.
Developed through decades of friendship and creative exchange, it will be presented at Harman Projects at Minnesota Street Project in January 2027. The work spans abstraction and figuration, with bold color, confident lines, texture, typography, humor, and a deep commitment to process. Public programs, shared meals, music, and gatherings will connect the artists with Bay Area audiences.
