Nikola Tesla NYC Experience 2027 is a cultural and educational platform that brings Tesla’s story back to New York—the city where he lived, worked and developed many of the ideas that helped shape the modern world.
Created in partnership with the Nikola Tesla Museum, the project combines an authentic museum exhibition, archival materials, immersive interpretation, school visits, talks, workshops and public programs. It presents scientific discovery as a combination of imagination, discipline, courage, collaboration and responsibility.
Through themes including “Foundation of the Modern World,” “Progress Without Balance,” “Visions of Tomorrow” and “Be Like Tesla,” the experience uses Tesla’s legacy as a starting point for conversations about energy, sustainability, artificial intelligence, communication, creativity and the social consequences of emerging technologies. Who benefits from technological progress? What happens when innovation develops without ethical responsibility? How can science serve people, communities and the public good?
By connecting history with present-day challenges, the project aims to encourage scientific curiosity, critical thinking, ethical awareness and responsible innovation—inviting every visitor to imagine the future and consider their own role in shaping it.
